Guided Fishing DownUnder Welcomes Nathan Johnston to the Team!

With years spent working on the waterways around here with Fitzroy River Water, few would know the waterways as well as Nathan. He now has his own Environmental Advisory Service, Rise Guidance, in addition to guiding keen anglers in the Rocky region with Guided Fishing DownUnder.

With an extensive knowledge of the Fitzroy and the broader Rockhampton region, an intimate all round knowledge of sport fishing- especially when it comes to Barramundi and King Threadfin – and a passion for all things piscatorial, Nathan is a natural born fishing guide!

Nathan has already put some of our guests onto some outstanding fish, and with his knowledge, enthusiasm and great people skills, everyone who fishes with him is bound to have a very memorable day on the water, whilst learning plenty about the river system and the fish species that inhabit it.
